With Spring, it seems the queer and campy is blossoming like never before in the region in and around the Berkshires, with the latest show of interest to area LGBTQ folks being a parody of the Nancy Drew Hardy Boys genre. Helsinki Hudson has once again attracted a NYC show to our area, for one night only of course, and it’s a doozie. The show will also play Poughkeepsie and Rosendale.
Nasty Drew & That Harder Boy: The Mystery of the Family Jewels will be at the Helsinki Hudson showroom on Sunday, April 17, 2016 and as you can see from the video embedded below, it’s a howl. A combination of comedy, mystery, drag, and stripping it stars two of burlesque’s hottest performers, Chris Harder and Nasty Canasta. This co-production of GayHudson.com and BigGayHudsonValley.com features some of New York City’s hottest names in burlesque, drag, and circus performers. More information at Berkshire on Stage.
